Waiting period

Waiting period is the period where the insured pays a premium, but has no insurance coverage. This means that the insured first three months of the conclusion of supplementary health insurance to cover all the costs of health care co-payments.
But beware, this is not true for everyone, but only for two categories of people:

  •        for anyone who has not entered into a scheme within one month from the date they become liable for compulsory and supplementary health insurance. These are usually students or students who have passed the status and do not take out insurance on time;

  •        to all persons who have renounced the existing supplemental health insurance and new insurance would not be concluded within a month.

Parents and students ATTENTION! Check when student status expires. Or students. students must, within one month following the expiration status to conclude supplementary health insurance, even they are subject to three-month waiting period.
